buying games in short supply and selling

Is a gamble but I guess can pay handsomely when works.

Persona 5 collectors edition £90 at official retailer but out of stock months before release.

Some guy on ebay has already sold 19 copies at £150 each. almost 1.2k profit.

It's called touting, the guy's a shark.

Its amazing that anyone would pay £150. £60 profit (minus P&P and eBay fees) per game still leaves a nice big chunk of money left.

Are people that desperate to buy the game !?

Yup always people around to buy at silly prices.

The thing that gets me is the uber editions of games that are coming out with crazy prices.

Destiny 2 Collectors edition for instance is £219.99 at Game for and that's the official price not someone selling for profit on Ebay.
That's more than the console to play the game on F F S.

That is stupid.
