Earthfall

Was hoping (after Toxikk) that I could find a good FPS. Whilst EarthFall is in Early Access, and may turn out okay, I'm not that hopeful unfortunately.

Performance doesn't improve much even when not recording and the recoil on the pistols is awful.

The developers have reduced the price in half now - just after I started the refund process too...

What's the problem with it?

Like Deathwing before it, it uses Unreal 4 - unfortunately that engine has problems with AMD processors and/or GPU's, resulting in a pretty severe performance loss. There are other problems too, but that is the most serious at the moment.

I'm having to play it (re-bought it as they reduced the price) on low settings for everything to get a fairly decent game.

Must admit the game has certainly grown on me - especially with their current price.

Looks pretty decent, shame about the issues you mentioned.

They do say on the product page, and its to be somewhat expected (although I think they did start EA a bit too early)

Did a music video of it a few days ago (the video part anyway - the music was "borrowed"). This is in 4K, by the way...

It's finally had a major upgrade - can now run it at a native resolution!

AI is a lot better now too. Will be doing a new video soon!
