Steam sale

There's a few days left in the sale, just after some recommendations of must buys I may have missed.

I will grab Wolfenstein Old Blood and also tempted by GTA 5 and the complete Deus Ex collection.

I bought Subnautica and PLAYERUNKNOWNS BATTLEGROUNDS, two very different games but both worth the money, particularly seeing as I bought them both from the Indian steam store!!

I will have a look but been underwhelmed by steam sales lately, always seems to be the same games.

Sub Nautica does look intriguing.

word of warning, early access games sometimes dont get finished, I invested in two, one is as good as dead, and the other 4 years later and still waiting.

So I stay away from them now.

Battlegrounds is coming to Xbox so it should be safe!

any tips on how you saving money buying from cheaper regions?

I guess there is a process that makes it easy, and no issues playing them on a uk steam account?

I've actually changed the region of my steam account and used a vpn to do it mate, it meant I got PUBG for £12 instead of £26.99

Know what you mean though. It's a [censored] laggy mess at the minute. Even GTX1080 owners struggling to stay above 30fps. It's terribly unoptimised right now, but I can see the promise in it.

I got Wreckfest early access too (Next Car Game), and that's awesome. It wouldn't bother me if they didn't finish the whole "career mode" side of things. I just like the UK Bangerz mod.

(And no Swanny, that's not a porn mod...)

I've been disappointed both with the quantity and quality of the Steam Sale - would have liked to have seen more of the newer stuff reduced, but there we go. There hasn't been anything that is a "must have", it's been a case of "try before keeping"

I probably refunded more stuff than I kept...

Indeed - they are a bit of a risk (Breakneck could be), but as long as its as near complete as possible, it shouldn't be a problem.

Earthfall is another one - but, again, it does play okay (even with just 4 levels).

The other game you mentioned I not sure if optimisation can turn a lag fest into greatness so I dont think that bodes well. I guess they using a bad engine.
