state of steam sales

So poor these days.

I tend to see the same games every month or two hit the same discount, then back to full price then down again, usually no more than 50%, some games are "never" discounted, and I think the last time I seen a 75% off on a game I want was about 5 years ago. Of course i am excluding things like cdkeys and regional pricing.

I think the 75% off deals used to be when valve decided the deals, but when they handed control to the publishers they got tight.

Yes, they have been poor recently - it does reflect the poor state of Steam games though... I might get Dying Light (at 60% off), but thats about it - at the moment...

I really enjoyed Dying Light.

The campaign structure was slightly disjointed at times, but the Zombie NPCs and the environment rocked. It was good fun!

It does look a lot like Dead Island...

I liked being able to drive in Dead Island, but missed the Parkour.

The DLC has driving, but I didnt go for it in the end.

I kept ramming my vehicles into trees and whatnot, because, zombies..

Also kept getting run over by idiotic players as well - soon disabled coop play...

Yeah, sod public servers for coop...

If you like blowing things up then just cause 3 is good and it was free on psn last month

Dying Light looks like being rather good!

Runs fine on my [censored] old ps4 so on your superdooper jobbie it should be great
