Agreed. There really shouldn't be any micro transactions in a full priced game.

Unfortunately they seem to be trying to bring the Android F2P system to PC gaming even when paying for a game frown

Soon we'll have to stop playing every 5 minutes for an advert...

there has been a lot in the press lately about their lootbox system been a form of gambling and it should be regulated, obviously if its regulated as gambling then EA's core business model is up [censored] creek, which I think is a big factor in the stock changes.

Urrgh now that is a horrible thought. I hope the majority of gamers vote with their wallets and don't buy any of their extra [censored]. Paid DLC is bad enough but I can live with it if it's good but any other in game items, pay to win stuff is just too far.

Whilst Lootboxes could be seen as a sort of gambling, Android advertisments, and especially TapJoy (aka Earn Free points/crytals/whatever) are far, far worse... Ingame advertising as a whole should be more widely regulated...

yes a shake up "could" be coming.

But I wouldnt bet on it tho, as regulation if seen too harmful for the economy could be skipped.

The lootbox issue is you dont know what you going to get, so its gambling, its different to when you buying a specific item.

Would all depend on how the odds are stacked really, and especially if coercion is used
