thats not true at all, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frame_rate#Visible_fram... things like films being 24fps is just because that back when they started making movies it was cheper to use that format, avatar 2 will be shot at 60fps and probably shown in cinemas at that framerate as well as all it requires is a firmware update to the digital projectors the hobbit is also being filmed at either 48 or 60 fps

Also camera technology took electrical supply frequency into account to avoid flicker from studio lighting etc. smile
.

Knowing how it works is completely different to understanding how it works.

Raven should go back to working on making classics like JK2.

Yes they seem to be going with the tried and tested mechanics of the battlefield, but at the same time, the all of the previous titles lack that certain polish to turn it into something completely immersing.

I know some of you love BF2 on here, but honestly go back and play it now! It really has turned into a rubbish game. Yes you get a great selection of vehicles and classes. However the animation (at a time when people were busy making great reskins for cs) and skins of your weaponry is atrocious giving inaccurate feedback. Bullets firing off on weird vectors.

Now onto the important part, the players are segmented across 2 games, special forces and normal bf2. Servers are usually just running a handful of maps. People are busy diving, or cheating.

The worse is, the queuing and griefing that goes on there, or those hotshots in the jets or helicopter that never go down because that is all they ever do, considering there are only 2 jets and 1 attack helicopter.

No 1080P resolution either as its going to run at a maxed out 720

COD:BlOps runs at sub 720p on 360 (1040x608) and PS3 (960x544). MW3 isn't going to be any different. The Wii U version should be better, if it comes out.

PC is obviously the platform to experience it on but I'm with FireFalcon on Origin.

Only way im touching MW3 is for the story all 4hrs of it wink.

But yeah... If EA balls BF3 up i would quite happily live without both, enough indie games to keep me going smile.

Didn't like it when it was F2P weekend. Too casual a teamplay shooter for me, found it dull, the shooting mechanic turned me right off as you don't have to be accurate, just burst spam towards targets.

3D spotting is vastly underused by most people. I love it smile

I hope the squad size does go back up - but I don't know how that would work if you can spawn on anyone - a 6 man squad might end up being too hard to take down...
