I bought the original fallout 3 and like you Jaxx within a few hours the novelty wore of and i became extremely bored with the game,Dead Island is a similar type game but i enjoy this a lot more and i find it far more intense and exciting than Fallout 3.
As i have said before patience is not really my thing and if i come across a quest or challenge than confuses me and 1 hour later i am still trying to work it out in a game like Fallout 3 then thats it for me and the game quickly gets traded.
I have had a few similar problems with Dead Island but i really like the game, take the collect juice from 2 petrol garage mission and i think you know where i am going.
Actually once you have cleared the area of 1 petrol station and drop in through the roof window you can actually load 2 juice cartons from there, but on your return the guy keeps asking you have you checked both petrol stations.
I must have spent the best part of 2 hours last night with this task and whatever i seem to do even after going and retrieving juice from 2 stations i still get the guy telling me have you checked both stations.
So because i have the main quests and about 10 other side quests going and a map on screen that is not exactly user friendly i have decided to delete the save and start all over.
Thats a typical frustrated T2D and that is what i do when something goes wrong, since i was not that far into the game i intend to only have the main quest and a side quest running instead of the amount i had before, this way i can concentrate better on the task in hand.
Some will say that after spending 6 hours or more on a game then deleting a save in frustration is a bit pointless but hey ho thats me and its no big deal because its a great game flaws and all.
