I am still unsure about all that relentless unlocking. Okay to have it for personnel but it's a real drag trying to configure your load out each time you go into battle. More so the choosing of your primary gun accessories actually but jaysus, do we really need so many options? I realise I might be in the minority here but enough is enough.

You're not in the minority mate. I find it far more complex than it needs to be. wink

Knowing how it works is completely different to understanding how it works.

Gotta agree - too many scopes that are irrelevant. I got shot yesterday by someone with a rifle scope (8x zoom that comes default on sniper rifles) on a F2000. What is with that? And bipods for every gun? Strikes me as lazy coding...

It is also annoying that in order to change something like a scope (I use ironsights 95% of the time but put on IRNV when in dark bits) you have to click customize and then further click into loadout - it shouldn't need that! Surely the customize screen should just do it all...

In reply to a post by Gzero:
Also key to victory is the IRNV, I don't use it, but seen lot's of K/D chasers with it.

What is the IRNV??

Infra red night vision. Need 100 kills with most guns to unlock it. Makes hiding on a hill impossible

I found the wall of lead approach or at times could lead a fast jet, but as you say assists only on the static

I like having unlocks for attachments to make a weapon better and more suited to what you use it for, just BF3 has done a very poor job of it, and from the number of people buying bf3/mw3 etc it seems the majority love that kind of thing.

Erm not so useful for pc, but I guess it will stop the flood of QQ when the servers go down for maintenance (it's always the same, few people post "why is the servers offline?" "zomg dice can't do anything right!").

That was what I was saying or trying to. It is bizarre to have such variety and upon so many weapons you would not expect to find such items. The optical zoom is so great on some weapons it's just cheating really. Crazy.

Plus, okay, the Infra Red scope is cool but it's night and day to those who have it (pun sorta intended) as it's so damn easy to spot people. When you're a noob without it and without much else, you will be fodder for people who are all geared up and the main advantage is the IR scope.

The bipods are annoying. You've got heavy barrel, foregrip, underslung this and that and loads of separate toggles when it's not necessary.

It's gone too far in the direction of that classic arcade game, what's it called? Modern Warfare? wink
