First off I don't like you , you try and put people down spell checking them to show your supposed superiority , its not a redeeming feature .

Any way back on thread and I know this is pointless posting to you because you would not of had anything under your telly for a very long time other than a PlayStation .

So what ever I say you won't except it , because that's the way you are .

Microsoft have invested billions in in a huge network of hundreds of thousands of servers around the world creating a huge computing cloud that developers can use when developing games for the Xbone .
Sony could not have a cloud network like this even if they wanted as they don't have 8 years of online subscriptions to be able to afford it .

Very right in saying "not every game needs a online server" but games that do will benefit hugely from having such a expansive cloud network to tap into .

That's a huge difference between say " yeah sure developers can use the cloud if they want " to " here is a cloud we want you to use " .

The benefits of using a cloud based services are only really restricted by your connection , and yes I do see there being issue for those on market1 exchanges .

The possibilities for cloud based computing are endless , in this thread we have spoken of a service that will be able to stream PS3 games to your phone , T.V. or console etc with all the computing done in the cloud , I have been reading up on this and see latency has been about 47ms .
That's amazing and what I want you to understand is the possibilities of cloud computing are only held back by the developers imagination , with I quote " consoles getting more powerful over time " .

So Sony don't have a huge cloud network , Microsoft do . which console do you thinks going to give you a better online experience ?

Its been obvious to me that Sony do indeed realise the importance of cloud computing , or why else would they have brought out gaikai but Sony's real issue is they don't have a cloud network but I'm sure , they will be building one , funds permitting .

So lift them balls out of your eyes and understand there are positives and negatives to all platforms and maybe if you had had more then just the one you might understand that and realise there are other valid options other than PlayStation with valid reason to consider them .

First off, I didn't walk into a thread and call you a fool, a backslapper and ignorant, and then hide behind Dyslexia. It is not your literary ability that is the problem, it's your attitude.

Instead of telling me how thick I am, just explain how it will work. You can use the Digital Foundary link for reference.

Actually a very good article but what I took from it was nobody really knows how the cloud is going to change gaming and Microsoft have got 300,000 servers to just run Xbox live .

Oh and the cloud has real benefits for online gaming . and that's where I spend 80% of my gaming time and has been my main issue with this generation of consoles .

It works by taking computation's away from the host machine and completing them in the cloud thus freeing up CPU cycles on the host machine . It can be used to create huge online worlds with many players and advanced AI . but that's just the start , as game developers have never had such a powerful cloud to use , who knows how it might be used in the future .

No you walked into this thread and called me "no better than a ticket tout and greedy" so don't try the "I'm the victim " and grow some your self .

Bert i really thing you are taking your views to a extreme level, this forum is about people debating different aspects of all things gaming.

You have harped on about How Microsoft is so far ahead of Sony with its Cloud Gaming and myself, trance and mrneslter have pointed out our views and opinions.

You really should lighten up because if anyone spelling is a joke then its mine, and i don't see why you are picking up on such trivial things and where has your sense of humour gone.

We are not all going to be on board the Microsoft Cloud and there vision of the future, remember May and there vision then........And remember the Backlash that they received from Gamers and the media....

You seem to forgive and forget very easily and i hope that Xbox One meets your high expectations .

In reply to a post by mrnelster:
The point is there is no difference between the two of them apart from Microsoft's claims of cloud computation boosting the new Xbox's hardware capabilities, which is accepted as nonsense industry wide.

Perhaps you can explain how it works, or more importantly, what happens when your connection takes a sudden dip? Does the frame rate struggle, does it drop to 720 or does it perhaps temporarily revert to black and white? Cloud computation is nonsense and likely always will be. By the time the infrastructure catches up, the expectations will be 10 times greater than they are now.

Streaming games face frame rate issues and controller input latency. Expecting "cloud computing" to make any meaningful addition to performance faces even more fundamental problems.

And I'm not a plumber.

I don't see one single thing wrong with this post and find it very informative, you don't like it Bert because its an opinion that differs from your own.

Wasn't you one of the very people that originally condemned Microsoft and now in your eyes they can not do anything wrong.

Just because that's the most ignorant post in this thread , even more ignorent than the one where you retorted to being the spelling and grammer police or where you say I'm greedy for making profit from Sony fanboys . yeah I love brand loyalty's, such a easy hit for a fast buc

Oh you buy a Playstation 4 and your a Fanboy.......Is that how it works........Guess that Makes you a Xbox messiah then.wink

Not really an Adult thing to say and I'm sure nelster won't be loosing any sleep either, why you have chosen to be so defensive regarding Microsoft and there infrastructure is anyone guess, unless you have all of a sudden been offered a Public relations job to put right everything they have so far done wrong.

You use the term Fanboy which quite frankly Bert is ridiculous as many people have all the consoles and for the past 5 years my preference has always been the Xbox for like you say it had a better online service, but remember why it had a better online service.........You had to pay for it and Sonys was FREE .

I also think that Trance,Myself and nelster would be all for Microsoft blowing us all away with there cloud gaming because like i have already said it benefits us the people that buy the consoles.

You have got ultra defensive when anyone has put other ideas and examples to you about the pros and cons of cloud gaming,as for you making a profit regarding selling your pre/orderded Playstation 4 well thats all fine and dandy winkbecause its a good job its a Playstation 4 you will be selling because you wont make a single dime profit on that Xbox One thats for sure if you were thinking of selling that.

You can easily pick up a Xbox one for launch but you going to have to search high and low to find a Playstation 4,don't that tell you something bert.

Yes your right I should chill out , in fact every one should chill out

Not forgetting I do still have a PS4 on pre order and could change my mind about selling it . still think it will just be to much money to not sell .

Thats was just a little bit of humorous banter that for some reason has offended you and its now getting blown out of all proportions which quite frankly is silly and very very childish.

Ive had my rants and disagreements on here but if you come on here extracting the Urine then expect a little back smileand i get plenty of jibes and comments and for the past 3/4 years there are not many posts by mrnelster or myself not taking the Mickey out of each other.

So lets all get on Bert and I'm sure you have really got offended when mrnelster was only bringing a little bit of humour to the thread, personally i think he is one of the funniest posters on here and his wit and humour is well liked on these gaming forums by quite a few of us especially myself.

Im sure if you read through the threads again you will see it from a different perspective and at no time did he mean to be rude and offensive like you suggest, because i think i know him slightly better than you and if he was to be rude and offensive the post would all most certainly been deleted .
