Learning the Guitar ? Now thats interesting and a decent choice

I myself haven't done much gaming either apart from the last few days with Titanfall,i can not be bothered half of the time and end up watching television or mucking about with iPad,don't know if thats me going of gaming or the lack of any decent games,probably a mixture of both.

Yeah each to there own but i was highly impressed with how Titanfall played out but it to could become something that i discard for something else pretty easily i guess.

Just hope its got far more game modes and download content because that is a little restricted based on the Beta.

And Watchdogs is the game I'm looking forward to most this year along side Infamous second son.

So I downloaded the Titanfall beta last night.... wow what a game! It's like playing an FPS all over again, it's brilliant. It is something completely different to everything else on the market. It's like a mixture of Halo, Battlefield and the original COD.

I really enjoy running up the walls and bouncing off all over the place. In my first game I took out loads of humans but only one titan, in my second game I managed to take down 5 titans. It's fast paced and hectic at points but you never feel that you are out of your league. Perhaps because it's new everyone is on a level playing field but I played 4 games in the end and each one I was really happy with my kills and I thought I pulled off some cool moves.

Really looking forward to seeing the the full abilities of the Titans, I have only used the one with the minigun and the one with the rocket launchers at the moment but they were great.

Just realised I didn't reply to your post about where you have been either. It is true this forum is on the quiet side, but then it's mainly a broadband forum and the gaming part is just an additional add on. I am a member of 360 Achievements and a couple of other gaming forums where there is a huge community, so I guess it depends what you want from the forum.

I haven't posted that much here myself recently either as I haven't had a lot of new games. Got the Titanfall Beta last night but that ends today. My next big purchase is going to be RYSE as it's on offer for the next week @ £32.99 and I am also going to buy Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare when that is out next week.

So expect to hear more from me over the next couple of weeks!

Jaxx pleas don't buy Ryse and waste your money,you will be bored with that game within 30 minutes,plants v zombies I have on order and you would be wiser next week buying the new Thief game and not Ryse.

I know you got far more patience than me with games and don't buy so many but i doubt Ryse will meet even your expectations and if you really wanted that game you would have bought it with your Xbox One.

Your thoughts on the Titanfall beta if you get a few hours on it will be interesting ,personally myself Kila ,and Bert think it's pretty special

Yeah it ignited my passion for FPS once again even though it has all the hallmarks of previous Infinity Ward games but with a difference .

So come March 11th headset for chat at the ready , yourself, kila and son,Bert and myself will crew up and go Mech bashing.

Just wish it was at least 2 weeks as 6 days is pretty poor,remember the original MW beta went on for about 6 weeks .

been rinsing the beta and its a great game , easy to play , hard to master .

The movement mechanics of the pilot are just sublime , once you start thinking vertically instead of just horizontally , i will warn you now that i see a real skills gap appearing between those that master the pilots movement mechanics and those that try and play it like every other FPS .

Finding routes across maps and using the pilots movement is wining me and my buddys big and clearing out the lobby of opposing players that just cant deal with attacks coming from every direction and so soon after spawning in to the game .

You can traverse the map so quickly using wall running and double jumps and at ridiculous speeds , i do see there being some problems once people master these skills against those that don't .

Anyway back to World of Tanks and something much slower in pace , whilst i wait for this game to be released .

Yeah i can see certain people mastering some of the game modes and team work dominating matches.

I had a quick couple of matches this evening and i dare say that will be the last until release as i expect the beta to be finished sometime this evening and i will then delete it.

Beta finishes at 2am Thursday morning, its more of a demo then a beta as its very polished.

Been playing for many years, but I want to learn some advanced technique and chord theory.

That's why I haven't picked up tomb raider yet but I will. Then if I manage to give the time to that, I will likely pick up Second Son. The thing is, the only games I have completed on PS4 are Killzone Shadowfall and Knack. Knack because it's an easy to pick up and drop button basher, and KZ because it is the best looking console game ever, bar none. I haven't played more than the first level on Ghosts or BF4 and don't feel moved to do so to be honest.

So the point being, single player seems like it is where it's at for me right now but I need to find the time to dedicate to campaigns, what with still trying to be the next Peter Green and all.
