Seriously i didn't actually think you could use rechargeable batteries in it after reading the reviews of the Elite Controller......

Surprised such a expensive controller has disposable batteries rather than a built in rechargeable one. The charger sorts things out but that's an added expense on a already expensive item.

I prefer the idea of removable batteries, it's better than replacing the controller when the batteries die.
If you're using rechargeable batteries or even a battery pack you can also use a micro usb lead and plug and play.
