How long to remove marker/tag on the BT line?

Hey guys, cancelled my F2S subscripton which was on LLU to move to Sky. Ceased as of the 6th September - have been told it will take from 5-15 working days before the marker is removed from the line depending on who i speak to (Sky, F2S technical, Ofcom, BT Wholesale).

Does anyone have any idea of the ACTUAL time it takes for the marker to be removed from the line on an LLU product? No one seems to have a definitive answer. Obviously i can't place the order for the new supply until the marker is removed, so any help would be really appreciated.

keep looking at the checker till its gone. What does http://www.btwholesale.com/get_broadband/index.html have to say about the line ?

When I had this done it took about 5 working days, either that or somewhere between 5 and 10 working days.

This is really weird - i looked at the checker and there is apparently no schedule of any work to be carried out on my line/number.

Anyone know why this could be? It's now 7 working days since i had my line ceased.

If no mention of any incompatible products on the checker then you are free to order, the marker is gone.

Which checker did you use?

Just to clarify - Easynet never processed the order! Hence there was nothing on the BT Small Business Landline order checker because they had failed to raise the cease order with BT. It's there now, after much time spent on the phone with everyone under the sun (F2S, Easynet - who threatened to stop speaking to me as they weren't my "customer" - i went insane at that point, Ofcome and BT Wholesale/tag on the line team, who were very helpful). I'm now due to be moved from LLU back to IPstream on the 22nd Sept - almost 3 weeks after my broadband ceased. F2S have given me free connection up until that point as they sympathised with my plight. Still, talk about madness, i was going nuts last week when i found out that Easynet hadn't even processed the order!
