Migration problem

[link to this post]

I migrate from Nildram to IDNet tomorrow. When I migrated into Nildram from a fixed speed service, it was easy to tell when I had gone live due to the sync speeds. This time I won't have that clue, and just to add to the confusion, Nildram are taking down one of their ERXs overnight for maintenance, so any re-sync could be down to that.

Is there a simple way, other than the obvious "change all the router settings and see if it works", method of knowing when the migration has gone through?

Nope..
Although i did find that mine went through overnight. I was due on the 12th of Oct and when i got up on the 12th i had no sync, entered new isp's details and i was off and running again. That was migrating from Nilly as well.

Thanks, I had a feeling it might come down to doing it the hardway. I'm surprised you had no sync though.
