Yep, syncing at 3744000 down and 448000 up which should give me roughly 350KBps downloads. However I can only seem to download at about 150-175KBps either during the day or early hours of the morning. Upload speeds are also dreadful as well, just ran another ADSLGuide Speed Test and this is what I'm getting which is pretty much all the time:
Downstream 1,101.1 Kbps ( = 1.1 Mbps )
Upstream 105.6 Kbps ( = 0.1 Mbps )
When I was on Nildram I was getting much faster speeds than this, for reference here are my router stats:
Router Make / Model - Draytek Vigor 2800
Loop Att. - 34.0
SNR Margin - 20.0 (usually drops to 17.5 on a night)
Up Speed - 448000
Down Speed - 3744000
I'm using an Entanet reseller (UKFSN) and from reading the Entanet forum they seem to be have load balancing issues with their pipes, could this be a factor as to why my speeds have literally halved since moving from Nildram?
Also, when I run the BT Broadband checker to see what speed my line should be giving it reckons I can only get 512kbps, yet about 2 weeks ago it was saying that my line can do 2Mb and upto 8Mb for MAX ADSL. I moved onto MAX whilst I was with Nildram and prior to that I had a rock solid 2Mb connection anyway. I've emailed Mr Saffron my router stats to see if he can get BT to remedy this for me.
Sorry for the length of the post
