Logs

[link to this post]

Hi all:

In my Draytek logs the following appears:-

05:18:04 Vigor: statistic: Session Usage: 0 (5 min average)
05:18:04 Vigor: statistic: WAN2: Tx 0 Kbps, Rx 0 Kbps (5 min average)
05:18:04 Vigor: statistic: WAN1: Tx 0 Kbps, Rx 0 Kbps (5 min average)

This same message is repeated every 5 minutes or so although sometimes it differs slightly - the Rx figure is different in this case:

05:07:58 Vigor: statistic: Session Usage: 1 (5 min average)
05:07:58 Vigor: statistic: WAN2: Tx 0 Kbps, Rx 0 Kbps (5 min average)
05:07:58 Vigor: statistic: WAN1: Tx 0 Kbps, Rx 7 Kbps (5 min average)

Can someone tell me what it all means? Sorry to sound dumb but I'm only just beginning to get the hang of max. I'm coming to the conclusion that a degree in electronics might come in handy. Plug n' play it isn't, especially if you're on a poor line.

Which Draytek is it? I've not seen anything like that on my 2600G

It's a 2800 - rather flaky on poor lines :-)
