ip was stuck for 12 days. Does training start now

[link to this post]

From migration my ip was stuck for 12 days. During that time my synch was constant 3600 or there abouts. I have today noticed my synch change to 2900 although i have not seemingly lost adsl connection. Its been 24 hours since my ip was reset. Does my training period start now my ip has been reset? or is there something im missing as i dont know why sync would have dropped?
During the 12 day stuck ip my connection was up almost all the time. Three modem resets i think.

If just your IP Profile was "unstuck" then no, the training period will have finished. There is a remote possibility the training period was re-started but I expect only your ISP could tell you that.

All the training period really determines is your MSR (Maximum Stable Rate) and FTR (Fault Tolerance Rate = 70% of MSR).

The drop in sync looks like your Target SNRM has risen by 3dB and affected your latest sync. That's bad (ish) news. Let's hope whoever reset the IP Profile didn't fix the SNRM at 3dB higher than before.

A more hopeful scenario is a re-sync took place overnight for some reason, when SNR is lower so to achieve your target SNRM a lower sync speed is needed. The easiest way to check that is to re-sync again tomorrow morning as late as possible - with the sun rising later it is after 9am before SNR is at its best. (If you are new enough to think I'm joking about the sun, I'm not ). With luck you will get your 3600 area sync again.

The 3600 speed should have given you a 3000kbps profile. The 2900 sync will have dropped it to 2500 and it will take probably about 5 days to recover if you sync back at 3600 in the morning.

If you can post your line stats immediately after the resync we get a good picture of your line. (See here if you don't know how to get them).
