Second Hop Of Tracert Is............... ?

[link to this post]

The following trace is typical of what i get lately
What i wish to know is whats causing the problem
Isnt the second hop from me to my exchange?
I have the connection plugged into the test socket behind the faceplate
What i really want to know, i guess is what can i do to impove this. Pages load slowly, but once i download anything, it goes fine once it gets going, although slow to kick in at first and "choppy" throughout

the Be routers ( DSLAM ?) usually have a very low % return on pings, in this case you were unlucky and get none.

What are your DNS servers.

You can get them by doing an ipconfig /all at the DOS prompt.
