I signed up for virgin media broadband in september last year. As part of the deal I am only paying £21/month for the first 6 months. After that it goes up to £30. I still think that's very good value for a 20 mbit connection. I believe the contact is for 18 months.
I have been very happy with the service. I consider myself a very heavy downloader (100s of gbs per month) but even when they cap the line at busy times I have never seen less that 5 mbit... BT used to cap me at 50k!!
Anyway, our landlord has informed us he wants to sell the flat so we will be moving out in August... Well before the 18 month contract expires. Do you know can I expect to have to pay a fee for leaving early, or will I be obliged to pay £30 a month for the remainder of the contract - even if I no longer live in the flat!
Thanks
