used netgear Wireless ADSL2 Modem Router DG834G v4

Hi, Was looking at purchasing used neatgear DG834G v4 looked on ebay and
it seems some of them are selling on ones that come from ex isp's. would
these be locked! or can they be reset and ok to use.

Some may be locked to ISPs. I think Sky may be such an ISP. Generally I believe locked routers can be unlocked but personally I wouldn't buy one.
