BT Master Socket

Hello, my master socket is not compatable with the BT Broadband Accelerator and I thought I would disconnect the bell wire as suggested elsewhere on the site. The wiring on my socket however does not match the diagram (ie. orange/white = bell wire) What can I do without paying BT to check my socket?

Just leave terminals 2+5 connected. Disconnect anything connected to terminal 3
