help needed with line stats

hi there
im on my last day of cooling off period with sky connect broadband ( non llu 8 speed but exchange says would at bets get 6)and having problems with slow speed.and if i cant get better speeds with this broadband im going to need to cancel today!

could you have a look at my line stats and tell me if there is a problem and if i could be expected toget better speeds that i am currently getting? tested at main socket where line comes into house but not a NTE5 test socket as we havent got one.

many thanks in advance. i need to make an informed decision today as i dont want to be stuck with these kinds of speeds if they cant be improved.

The Sky non-llu service is often one to have lots of congestion in the evenings, which your tests seem to show.

To avoid this you can change to another provider, but most of the ones about the same price as Sky will have similar problems, you need to pay £25 or more (avoiding BT Total) from one of the smaller providers

or accept a GigaByte per month usage limit.

What exchange is it?

and so is the service if you use it when nobody else does. Time to look elsewhere I feel.

As Yarwell says, your connection is fine - you're connected at the highest speed possible for your service, and your line stats are also very good with nothing to worry about.

Your slow speedtest results are down to Sky's congested network.

good to know that the line is ok as we have just moved in and i had no idea if we wld be getting rubbish speeds whoever we went with because of our line.
seems like its all down to sky connect package then. logged a call with sky tech help and waiting for callback sometime today... but customer services couldnt extend my cooling off period so doubt if anything will/can be done to improve it so will cancel tomorrow.

from this learning curve am i right in saying we have ruled out any problems with my wiring as cause for low speed? so now have to find another package?

looking at 02 access as been suggested, anyone know of any others to avoid or go consider?

dont want high download limit 10gb more than enough, just reliable and consistant speed close to the max of my line 6mb- with no peaks or troughs through out the day and poss wireless but wld sacrifice for consistant 24hr speeds!

am i searching for the holy grail? feels like it sometimes

I wasn't recommending O2 Access as necessarily the place to end up. I was suggesting it was the right thing to do in a hurry as it is cheap and has a 30-day getout. So you have more time to think.
