CRC errors

What is the difference between the CRC errors which we see in the command- sh dsl interface <dsl interface name> & " sh int <dsl interface name>

if memory serves me right the crc counter on the show dsl int will be the amount of crc's incurred in the current session,

the crc's shown on show int atm0 will show all crc's on this interface since the counters were last cleared (which as you can see from the output is never) regardless of how many sessions / resyncs have started and ended
