Via Vista I use firefox and prefer to have and use the bookmarks toolbar as against the bookmarks menu, however when I now add icons to make access to my favourites easier, as soon as I move the curser toward them, they disappear.
I've noticed that I can open them all and have them slide back & forth via + & - but that does what it says, slows everything down. So I've dumped that.
No doubt there is a limit to how many are capable of being seen (currently 44) but I seem to remember one time, when I had too many icons showing, I was able to access the few that were over the limit, being accessed via a little drop down box.
Can anyone suggest a way of repeating this procedure please?.
