Openreach have just a few days ago replaced a small section of over-head cable with new cable underground. The phone line in question no longer syncs. Although right on the limit of receiving broadband it was connecting before.
The old cables have gone so BT can't put it back how it was. Seems BT have wasted a lot of money moving the cables to stop them being damaged by trees but have replaced them with much lower quality cables.
A BT engineer should be coming out this week but a date is yet to be confirmed.
What's the best course of action if the BT engineer fails to get their broadband working again?
