Occasional use holiday broadband supplier?

[link to this post]

Hi,

I spend a few months each year (June/July/Aug plus week at Christmas and Easter)at a holiday property which has Plusnet broadband (£11/m) installed but I'm looking for an occasional use provider which will prove more cost effective. For nine months in the year there's effectively no usage whatsoever.

Is there anyone who provides a 'switch-on / switch-off'' service or even only charges by download volume? When I do use it, I need about 10-15G per month, so the Mobile dongle is too expensive. Also, I'm outside 02 area for its entry level service.

Any other ideas?

Thanks.

Sam

Negotiate a retention deal from PN for renewing your contract and visit your second home more often then it all won't seem too bad, plus it will be more cost effective. tongue smile
