IPStream Max Premium

[link to this post]

I live in an area which supports BT Wholesale IPStream ADSL Max but nothing faster (no LLU, ADSL2+ etc). I'm searching for a service with the best possible upload speed for video conferencing. BT Wholesale IPStream Max Premium appears to offer up to 832Kbps and could be offered by any ISP using BT services. So far, I have only found these ISP offering services

Namesco Platinum+ £24.95 http://www.names.co.uk/adsl.html
IDNet Home Supermax £34.99 http://www.idnet.net/solutions/home/broadband/defaul...
Newnet Professional (I think) £47.00 http://www.newnet.co.uk/products/broadband/business
Plusnet Extra + Max Premium £17.99 + £7.83 (checking) = £25.82 http://portal.plus.net/wizard/?wizard_id=20
Zen Office £45.00 http://www.zen.co.uk/business/broadband/business-bro...

Does anyone know of any others? It looks like the best price is £25 a month with Namesco, which I'm not so sure about (quality of tech support etc).

Thanks, Cuthbei

Check these guys out - http://www.xilo.net/

I am on the Office service (832kbps upstream) and it is a cracking connection with brilliant customer support.

Entanet resellers have Business packages with 832 upstream that is metered 0800-2000 Mon-Fri only, you would get a 15 GB/month package for your budget.

MaxDSL - goes as fast as it can and doesn't read the line checker first.

Are your kids pirates ? Limewire, Bearshare, Kazaa, BitTorrent, eMule are all tools of the trade.

Thanks. Any idea who they might be? I can't seem to find a list on the Entanet site.

Thanks, Cuthbei

Thanks for this. Do you know if they have peak / off peak allowances? I.e. Does the 15GB allowance apply 24/7?

This is a reputable one. Click the Office Broadband Packages tab near the top of the detail.

All our "Office" packages give the 832kbps upload and are based on the Max Premium service:

http://adsl24.co.uk/broadband/ - enter your phone number to list available packages!

*edit* updated link!

Thanks James. Your packages look competitive, so I might make the switch.
