What's the betting that virtuous cases are few and far between, swamped by all sorts of mischief making.

Just more work for soliticitors, as those with money will seek to ensure that anything they don't like is taken down.

What happens with content hosted outside of UK jurisdiction?

I think for the recent wave of privacy issues, just better handling and firmer action would be enough. Otherwise we will have a costly service that is swamped by 30 somethings trying to get old material taken down from old social networking sites, that is now considered embarrassing.
