Can anyone tell me how this new saterlite broadband service deals with upload is it a modem ie 56k or is it done off the dish?
Are there any problems with 56k upload and a 10mbps download

I'm pretty sure the uplink is via the same dish. In other words you can use the service even if you don't have a telephone line.

it is two way on the dish, as are other services like http://www.satelliteinternet.co.uk/

New satellite - it has been available for years.

What is new is the launch of a new 70Gbps bandwidth satellite, which will use a dish for two way comms

I wonder how much that will cost for the downlink and equipment you will no doubt have to buy?
