From a slightly wobbly 10-11Mbps and 30msec pings to >30Mbps and ~10msec pings, it's a no-brainer

Uploading at ~8Mbps isn't to be sneezed at either!

So, results so far ...

Sync rate from the Technician's portable tester was 39.996 Mbps, who has stolen the 4kbps? The maximum achievable, if not capped, would be 46.667Mbps downstream and upstream 17.667 Mbps.

Testing here has given throughputs of around 36Mbps which is fine and 4Mbps faster than estimated.

That was six minutes later.

You really need to check the latency on that connection .

The connection's so fast, he's taking five minutes to process it all at the keyboard end of things.

All we expect of an old bduffer.
