Distance over the Net & your line length from exchange respectively wink

But post your router stats and we might be able to tell more.

Strange stats.

You seem to be on an LLU line forced to ADSL(1) instead of ADSL2+. Which ISP and package please, and how long have you had the problem?

What speed and latency are you getting, and what are you used to getting?

Thanks, at least we know it isn't something normal for that ISP.

We need to try to find some new noise at your end that started when the trouble did.

Have you got a new Sky Box recently, or a new phone? Bought an exercise machine? Has next door bought an exercise machine?

Have you moved the router from one place to somewhere else? Even the other side of the same room.

What I'm getting at is has anything changed that is to do with telephones, or other electrical or electronic kit? Even a new burglar alarm.

I don't have sky i'm using the same telephone but i did try another phone and still the same problem i don't have an exercise machine let alone does my friend who lives next door i have moved around the BeBox and still same problem and there is no electrical kit or anything near the router

I did how-ever phone my ISP and they said there is high attenuation on my line

and i explained all this is happening adsl drops out when phone call is made or received.

Unexplained increase in Attenuation

Noisy Line Slightly

Phone 17070 Opt 2 (BT Quiet Line Test) with router disconnected. If you hear any noise, report it to your phone provider as a voice fault; don't mention BB.

You still haven't given us examples of d/l speeds and latencies you are not happy with.

Exactly as XRaySpeX says:-
Phone 17070 Opt 2 (BT Quiet Line Test) with router disconnected. If you hear any noise, report it to your phone provider as a voice fault; don't mention BB.
It is very important that you disconnect the router from the phone line first, and that you do not mention broadband if you get that noise. So don't even tell them the broadband drops out when you use the phone.
