Line bonding

Well im getting the itch to look into line bonding as we will see no FTTC for some time.

I only option available is bonding with linux etc however i have not seen a decient guide on how this is done, even google isnt doing well.

Anyone got any information for this?

thanks, i have a linux box (basic p4 with 2gb ram) running mandriva however its been in the loft for a year+

Got a TT LLU line thats at 16.7 and looking at picking up a sky llu line as its so cheap and hopefully that will get 16 aswell

think im going to go this route, i presume its easier and will work just as well?

Decided against it, wont help me with what i was planning....dam servers that wont allow multiple ips for the same account , who would have thought hey lol.

It will be fine, although you may find you have to force some connections down one link as some sites don't like the IP address changing during a transaction - https for example.

I would love to do that as it would get passed the multi ip issue on newsgroups. I only have sky and tt llu so was going to get a sky line to join my tt line.

I have pm'd him to see how he has set it up, would be perfect for me.

Maybe some news providers allow you to use multiple IP's

difficult to find one, but now this vpn issue i like!

Juts need to do some research into it, see what software is required.

EDIT: Seems i need a server to sit somewhere on the internet to do vpn bonding and not just a machine at my property....pain!
