Well Yesterday i got activated on my sky brobadband unlimited everything went smooth.

someone told me my speed will get way quicker after 10 days because at the moment its locked at a certain speed is this true

one of my friends said his speed creeped up quite high?

Can you post your line stats reported by your router?

(attenuation, noise margin, etc)

Generally Sky LLU starts at a 4Meg cap and their DLM then raises your speeds if it thinks you can

The line stats will let us estimate how much it can raise by

Can you do a ping test wired instead of wireless please.

Just from your first post the latency looked really poor. Speed as expected at this point, as has been said already.

As to Ryan, speed should increase within a few days, it takes then about 2-3 days before they actually start the line testing, and quite quickly you should see speeds pick up.

My concern when going to Sky was to do with the ping, if they don't improve people keep mentioning a gaming profile which can improve this, from what I can gather though, it depends on your particular exchange as to whether this can be set or not.
