10-day training period Wholesale-LLU

If a user migrates from a BT Wholesale provider to an LLU provider, is there a new 10-day stabilisation period?

It depends on who is providing the LLU. I seem to remember that Be/O2 LLU and Sky LLU have some sort of training period, but it's likely to be a lot less than 10 days (perhaps 2-3 days).

They still have to determine optimum speed for line; length of period depends on ISP and they'll call it something else.

With the CPW LLU our line was set up to its optimum speed from day 1, based upon line length and router stats. There was no 10-day training period.

All those LLU providers are available to me. I could use "re-training" or whatever they choose to call it. I've every reason to believe I could achieve faster speeds, whiilst retaining stability, than I'm getting from my BT Wholesale provider. Thanks, Rosie P.

If you post your router stats they will allow an estimate of the speeds lines like yours normally get.
