A few questions about BE

A few questions about be broadband and evening and weekend package:

I'm currently with BT, do you get to keep the same phone number?
Is line rental included in the package price?
I've got my MAC from BT, do I have to notify BT that i'm changing and is there a charge?

Just to check that you're aware - you don't have to take Be's phone service just because you want their ADSL service. Their phone service is not significantly cheaper unless you really only want it for the broadband and choose to forgo things like Caller ID.

I'm not knocking Be (I've been a member for over four years and love them) but when it comes to a phone service BT can offer a better deal if you don't mind signing up for a fixed term contract.

You continue to pay line rental to BT (or whoever else you are currently paying line rental to). Your telephone service is unchanged.

The Be (ADSL broadband) charges are additional to your current phone charges.

Andrue's knowledge is more current than mine!

I'm on BT line at the moment but want to change to both BE bradband and phone line.

hi i have bethere phone line and broadband £11.00 phone line rent + £18.26 broadband and i pay nothing to bt any more thank GOD for that /ps line rent has free evening and weekend calls with it

On what basis do you want to move from BT for phone to BE Landline?

It's not that cheap when you factor in any add-ons and there are a number of issues with billing and probably other things too

My current contract runs out on 19th June on BT Evenings & Weekend and for a brief moment I did consider moving the phone to BE, but when I worked out the costs, BT was cheaper (and I don't want to lose Choose to Refuse)
