BT Business Line

Hi guys,

On one line of mine, I was on Sky and they had my line rental. I've moved over to a new ISP and want to move the line rental over.

I progressed an order with BT the other day (as they seem to be the quickest at doing line tests where Sky have to wait a week to do one). I checked the order status today and it said this:

Products & services included : BT Business Phone Line

1 of LLU LINESHARE
1 of SON BUSINESS DEFAULT
1 of EXCH LINE + LINEBOX
1 of WLR WIN BACK

However my exchange doesn't have LLU - does anyone know what this means?

Also - does this mean I'm connected directly to exchange and not to cabinet?

It means 'they' have won back the line from an OLO, 'other licensed operator'.
Line and Linebox, doesn't mean you have no cabinet on your line, it's just what it says, a line and NTE to be installed if not already in situ.

BT retail are working via the same process to OpenReach, as if they were someone else running the line. The fact your exchange has no other operators doesn't matter - this is Ofcom's governance.
