BT Business Broadband

[link to this post]

Hi there,
I currently have a bt business broadband contract, 8Mb unlimited, i signed up august last year and they have a lower price exactly the same as what we have but i want the unlimited bt openzone/fon minuites,
do you think bt would let me change the contract without paying? - except for the new price,
since i am not leaving bt i am not sure wether they would charge me for the rest of the contract.

I am thinking of ringing the business team to dicuss my options,

but any thoughts appreciated!

Cheers.

Try it and see ... you may well be successful but will have to start a new 12/18 month contract.

I have yet to finish a BT Business Broadband contact, I always seem to change the contract which terminates the original without any penalty and then initiates a new one.

I had BT Business Broadband (paid for by my employer), but when I retired, managed to convert it to residential incorporating the home phone line.

No charges, but took Lord knows how many calls to different people in BT to sort it.

Sorry, should have added that the Business Account and Residential Account were on different Contracts- may explain why there was the difficulty in combining the two.
