Slow speeds off Wolverton Exchange, Milton Keynes?

Speedtester.bt.com confirms my ADSL speeds have taken a hit. I am with Vodafone athome, which is a badged BTW product.
Next door, who are on Orange, are also complaining.

Speedtester throughput resuls show 250K, unfortunately ISP wont do anything until I go through the whole procedure of making the tea and stoking the fire.
Anyone else experiencing similar problems in the area of Bradville?

That's mainly to get rid of the people who don't really have problems, or those who can't be bothered with all the required tests.
A simple BT speedtest result (as Phil has said) should go a long way towards working out the source of the problem (line faults, ISP congestion, BT congestion, low IP profile).

I'm on the Wolverton exchange, but in Bradwell. Both my ADSL2+ and ADSL Max lines are behaving normally. You really need to get a BT speed test result to see what your profile is.

Done all speedtester tests over the last three days, until I was sick of doing them.
IP profile was around 250K most times, even down to 75K, which is bad for a line that has provided, usually 2Mbs or so for over the last 5 years or so.. Had meaningful talks with my ISP, at least twice a day giving them the speedtester results and routerstats. At least the call center wasn't off shore and all parties used mother tongue english
Interestingly, speedtester shows the IP profile to be back to around 2500, which I would consider normal for my line on ADSL max...

Download speed achieved during the test was - 2279 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 600-7150 Kbps.

Hopefully this situation is now resolved. Also need to check my neighbour to see if they have returned to normal throughput as well.
