Thus/Cable & wireless ducts

Hmmm

so i was taking a brisk walk to work when i noticed a few THUS ducts

and the other day while shopping i noticed a few more

...now at one of my work propertys we have a THUS/C&W server/link

wonder whats going on here ?

Something worried me about my reply ...

In June 2008 Cable & Wireless made a predatory offer for Demon's parent, Thus. On 1 Oct 2008, Cable & Wireless completed the takeover of THUS. The company is now known as "THUS, a Cable & Wireless business", as for example in the title of their web site.

Well theres a 1Gbps link at my work for thus not sure what its for i was hoping there would be some cool cable network to be launched lol

Its using an openreach NTE8

The two Openreach NTE8's are just a couple of good old fashioned ISDN lines, the others look like a variety of fibre termination boxes.

A couple of Thus and a couple of Cable and Wireless fibre tube NTEs and a copper ISDN NTE.
