I came to a table headed "BTnet technical specifications".
It has three columns, Specification, Description, Explanation. One particular line below, a column at a time - Heading then contents:-
Specification - Max download bandwidth.
Description - Same as contracted port speed i.e. if you opt for 100Mbps on a 100M bearer, you will receive a guaranteed 100Mbps downstream.
Explanation - The speed at which you can upload to the Internet. Broadband max is generally 'up to' 1Mbps.
