Yet on Orange WBC, I find it occasionally changes between them automatically after a re-sync forced from t'other end, the DLM presumably. Speeds remain fast and NM remains around 3 dB. I find these modes compare as follows:
- Interleaved: Sync 19.3 Meg, Rock solid for days on end, > 180 secs per Error Sec
- Fast Path: Sync 18.7 Meg, Discons about once per day, about 60 secs per Error Sec
So why is this happening? Surely the DLM can see that Interleaved is better.
Is this normal?
After Orange (BTw) sorted out my WBC sync speed to be at least as fast as my previous LLU sync, I ended up on Fast Path. I wrote to them requesting to be put on Interleaved for exactly the reasons seen above. A few weeks later it changed to Interleaved but since then I noticed it just alternated and they seem to have no control over this aspect
