TalkTalk LLU to Sky LLU

Hi all
My parents are thinking of switching to Sky from TT and I was concerned because I know how difficult it can be to switch between LLU providers. My mum said she had spoken to Sky and they told her it would cost just £10 for a new line from Sky, she could keep her number and the switch would be simple.
I'm concerned this may have just been sales talk, is it really a lot easier to switch LLU providers now? I know it's been a nightmare in the past.

The new line will have to be activated before they will order broadband, so there will be 10 days or so without broadband.

I'm assuming the process has been made easier now then?
So there's no need to go back to BT?
And she can keep her number?
Do you know if there are likely to be any disconnection fees from TT?

You can order directly through sky, so no need to go back to BT. In fact, you can't order sky BB unless the phone is with sky.

If sky say she can keep the number, then she can.

Is this correct ? I have worked on plenty of lines where the voice is through someone else, and the BB is with Sky ?

Not that i know of you should be good to go if you're out of contract

They now only do MPF i think they stopped SMPF sometime last year

I wasn't aware it isn't possible to migrate the phone from LLU to LLU. (MPF >> MPF). In fact I would have thought it simpler than WLR to LLU.

So it should be possible to do a combined move just as though they were migrating from any other connection.
