LLU question

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know which is the smallest exchange to get LLU?

My exchange only serves approx. 1100 residential and less than 100 non-residential premises and we are still stuck on a Market 1 exchange, just wondered if anyone has been LLU'd with less lines?

Thanks for the info, but I would like to know what the "very good reason" is!

I've seen suggestions that if a director of the LLU company lives in the village it is a very good reason! I don't know if that's fact or fiction.

But only if a director of BT doesn't live in the same village

Indeed, however you will get 21cn much sooner!

Possibly that the cost of installing the kit has been extremely cheap, or that the exchanges are very small and the exchange can only take 1 LLU supplier and so they are freezing out the others.

Who knows there must be a list of criteara with costings involves that will never see the light of day why some will be done over others.

Although saying that our exchange serves 30,000 homes and we only got our first LLU supplier in 2007 with all the others rushing in within 6 months and 21cn the next year.
