Could someone look at these stats?
the 2nd one is ok, but the 1st seems to have a lot of errors?
This is our office broadband, and the internet is terribly slow at the min

How many times did you disconnect and reconnect between those two sets of stats?
Do you ever tweak the noise margin setting? In the first set you have a margin of 2dB and an exceptionally high connection speed for the attenuation, in the second you have a margin of 11dB and have lost 7Mbps.

Try a resync on modem 1.
Very high connection rate resulting in lots of RX CRC errors meaning data has to be re-transmitted .
Post the ADSL Down speed and SNR margin directly after reconnection

Hi,
They are 2 seperate modems/lines
Ive resynched the modem1, and within 30s or so it had 400+ errors
does it look like a line fault?
|
|
|
One has a 2dB margin, which is very low and thus any noise blips can cause errors, due to the bit loading per bin.
A 6dB target margin would be a better bet on line one. So not evidence of a line fault, just a line being pushed too hard.
Line two is under performing, but because it has a 11dB margin, hence the 9.x Meg connection, when a range of 12000Kbps to 15700Kbps is to be expected for 32dB attenuation.

Thanks (uptime on two picture about 1 hour)
also is there any information on interleaving or fastpath on the modems?

Thanks,
is it just an unfortunate task of calling bt to change these?

Nothing to do with BT at this stage. You have strange stats but that doesn't necessarily mean you have a fault.
Which ISP are you with?

You re-sync'ed modem 1. Please could we see the stats as they are now.
A re-sync of modem 2 is needed as well, then line stats from that.
Are the two running independently, or some form of load-balancing/bonding? (Not a subject I know anything about, but originally you implied everything was slow).

They are connected to a dual wan router, and load balanced.
Thanks for your help anyway guys, ive canceled that adsl line with BT, and upgraded our virgin line.
Going to take out a cheap adsl line as a bcakup now.
Thanks
