NO CAPACITY AT THE POPLAR EXCHANGE, WHAT CAN I DO ?

HI Guys.

I hope you can advise . I am moving into a new flat in E14 ( Isle of Dogs) and trying to connect a broadband, I have BT LIne and was hoping to get Talk Talk deal. 2 days after placing an order they have rejected it saying that there is no capacity at the exchange, I then tried BT but after a week a received the same answer . BT has informed me today that I will have to wait till end of May 2012 to get connected.
What other options do I have left without having to go for mobile broadband?
If BT says that there is no capacity , doas that mean that all other providers won't have any capacity either?
Do BE /Plus etc rely on the same lines?
Is Cable ( Virgin ) the only option I have left now?

Other LLU providers may have capacity available e.g. O2/BE, Sky, C&W resellers etc. so stiill possible to get connected.

Poplar has been known to have capacity problems.

Have you tried another provider?

100% don't have capacity. We have access to both networks and neither have had capacity for quite some time.

BT Wholesale seems to be only one we have any luck placing Poplar based tails against.

I thought that after they'd removed the asbestos it'd all been sorted. How long has it been going on - two years? Three?

We have capacity on that exchange for our broadband unlimited, well there was just now when I checked.
