New street lights reduce broadband speed ?

My road has just had new street lights and posts installed very bright and low energy blah blah

Sync has gone from 6500 to 606 downstream ! Opps

Well now is it the new lights or have they damaged the cable ?

As A sky customer no hope of getting it resolved

Have fired up my 3g dongle as its faster now LOL

Full stats when bad , and again after a daytime reconnection?

Alas stats from normal socket, and when using the test socket.

If the new lights are a CFL type, there may be more noise. Am AM radio can help to ID the source, plus street lighting will affect others, so if you can show a problem affecting several in a street easier to get council to pay attention and resolve it.
