is see the new fup guide on PO is 100gb per month, and if you go over this for 3 month in a row they may reduce your speed.

The ASA also say limitations that affect the speed or usage of a service to be moderate and clearly explained

In the new FUP it does not clearly explain the above.

if they do impose i reduction in speed what would be classed as moderate?

It seems to me to be extremely clearly explained in the policy.

The ASA/BCAP did not define moderate, thus it is for providers to see what they can do, and the public not complain.
As the system is not active there is no information on how moderate the slow down may be.

The penalty previously was you had no idea what the trigger level was, and they could cancel your contract. A slow down seems less harsh.

No amount of wriggling and nit-picking will get away from the fact that it is nothing like an unlimited service. Second-rate speed and second-rate usage that will be quite adequate for many, but like all cheapies owned by or reselling B.T. they won't come close to the real thing. With the small ISP now jumping on the long tie-in bandwagon via the line rental upfront wheeze, it can in my opinion only hasten their demise.
