Broadband speed halfing after master socket problem.

Recently i was decorating ,and had to unscrew the master socket to lift it away from the wall.After putting it all back together my broadband speed dropped from 4 to 0.4! meg

I assumed i had dislodged a wire,so opened it up again to check,but nothing was loose.I then over a week or so,re-inserted each wire on several occasions,just incase i had a bad connection.

I have noticed over the last day or so,the speed has increased to about 2 meg,but this is still half of what i had.

Do i just need to wait longer for it to adjust itself??

Can you post up router stats so we can take a look whether things will get better or not.

my router is a netgear DG834Gv2 with updated firmware.
I cant either the links to work, to show my stats with the site provided.

ok managed to get into the router manually.

connection speed..up/down 4128/448
line attenation...up/down 51db/15.5db
noise margin...7db/19db.

is this enough??
