Is Barclays Bank web site down?

I cannot access, or ping, Barclays Bank web site. The "is it down" sites seem to suggest it's up. I can get to various other bank web sites (haven't tried the currently troubled ones that are in the news) but not to Barclay's, I get Server Not Found.

Anyone else with the same problem?

If you can it suggests DNS problems, if you can't... dunno

It seems to have just sprung into life. Maybe they were closed for breakfast, or in sympathy with RBS & NatWest

web site dont work, try again a few minutes later and do, I find that as well.

I came up with the same idea of the unfriendly number in the address bar.

Microsoft course usefull today then, spent 1.5 years doing stuff with no job, all money ran out and no work. 4 years on not even monkey work, Still it came in usefull today!.

Barclays was downgraded yesterday, along with a raft of other banks. Perhaps there's been a little more traffic than usual.
