Clutching at straws?

My local exchange (miles away!) has recently been 21CN WBC upgraded but there are no published plans for FTTC

In my village there has been,, for the last couple of weeks, lots of work going on which looks like new cabling/junction boxes on the telegraph poles

Does this in any way suggest possible cabling improvements in advance of FTTC ?

Or, as usual, I'm clutching at straws and its just routine cable/connection maintenance?

I would think BT like to say way in advance if/when they have fibre plans for an exchange.

What does www.superfast-openreach.co.uk/where-and-when/ say for you?

I'm pretty much a serial checker using all the usual stuff out there as I sooo want better speeds (currently 1.2mb over a 74 att line)

There's no plans for my exchange Freethorpe (1400 connections) but the next village along are just getting it (4000 connections) so you never know...

You could ask one of the engineers whats happening

More than likely, they are replacing aerial cable lengths. Nowt to do with FTTC.
