problems after bt infinty dropped yesterday

Since bt infinity went down yesterday then came back Facebook won't load pics can't access internet banking comes up cannot trust connection and hotmail wont allow me to log in am using Firefox anyone else having trouble.

Proxy issues maybe? Or DNS on the PC needs flushing, i.e. ipconfig /flushdns from a command prompt

do you use adblockplus plugin by any chance my cousin had the same problem internet went down came back on and FB would not show pics uninstalled reinstalled ABP plugin and everything worked again.
